Mothers' Day

Happy Mother's Day to my great mummy, the person who's been there with me through highs and lows for all the years that passed.

This year's Mother's Day is a very special day. Not that there is a huge celebration or what. It is still a simple affair in my family. I brought my parents out for an oldies concert this morning at esplanade. And am really glad they liked the XinYao songs and other oldies sung by familiar singers. There were soooo many old people there, some with their children, some with their friends, and a big group from an Old Folk's Home. Esplanade concert hall was full-house, seated up till the circle seats on the fourth level. We were on the third, and the view was aiyo - I couldn't really sit still because of my mild acrophobia. But the vocals were very 赞. (: And I'm so happy to see that my parents enjoyed the concert. :D

What is different this Mother's Day would be that I'm even more grateful to my mummy than before.

On this special day, I would like to thank you - for everything you gave me all these years, encouraging me when I feel discouraged, lending me your shoulder when I cry so badly, giving me pocket money, covering me with blanket in cold weather, accompanying me overnight at hospital, supporting my education, teaching me important values to live by.. and the list goes on. Happy Mother's Day.

On this special day, I would also like to thank you - for the greatest gift you bestowed me with - and that's my life. I'm grateful you brought me into this wonderful world. Happy Mother's Day.
