Bus 55

My day started off on a happy note, because I did a good deed. :D

This morning I went for DiscoveryCamp leader briefing at Novena area with Debra and Jiafang. To get there I had to take 2 buses...so the first bus was bus 55 to around the Eunos area. I dropped at Eunos station to take 21 to novena. And this bus 55 was driven by a female bus captain - an auntie in her 50s. While approaching Eunos I overheard her conversation with her bus interchange headquarters, asking them to find out if any bus captains near her area has a jacket to spare because she was freezing already. A few minutes later she got a call back and apparently no bus captains driving around that region has one to spare. Just nice I carry my jacket wherever I go - the NJC proud-to-be jacket. So when I was alighting I gave my jacket to her. :D

I haven't washed my jacket for quite some time UH-OH. hHaa...but okay la no smell. (: I actually hesitated for a few seconds before I decided to give it to her for my jacket carries many happy/sad memories in NJC. But after getting off the bus, I realised I'm happy having handed it to her and yea to know that it will keep her warm for the rest of her bus 55 journey. :D

She asked me to look for her at Bishan Bus Interchange, where bus 55 returns to. Mm YAY i still get to keep the jacket. :D And it fulfilled its purpose of keeping someone who's freezing cold warm. I'm proud of my NJC jacket. XD

Day ended on a lower note. My mum's having a very high fever now. Brought her to Doctor Lee only to find out his clinic is not opened on weekend nights. :( And she's coughing and feeling so weak... My stubborn mummy just wont agree to make a hospital visit - and like now she would rather have a coolpad over her forehead and wait for her temperature to come down which is obviously staying at 38.7 degree celsius. :( :( :(
